Supermom
Spider man, Wonder woman, and the Avengers
are the representation superheroes we know through movies we see on the
television or in the comics we read. What makes them unique from all the other
human beings and superheroes alike? Their super powers right!
Everyone has their own superhero they would
like to be. Superheroes to possess to save mankind like real superheroes do.
But we are not aware that we already have our own superhero with us from the
day we were born, our superhero that protected us from harm as we grew up. She
is none other than….. our Mom!
We call her by many names- nanay, mama,
mommy, inay, inang but one thing is for sure, and these are the names we use to
call the most important woman in our lives. Our moms are beautiful, caring,
unselfish, thoughtful, loving and lovable, patient, kind and generous. We would
always have them to support and love no matter what.
Our mom has no super power; all she ever does
is to give the unconditional love for us, and she always wanting to be there to
help us when we are in need. Even though we may think we can stand on
ourselves, we actually can’t because we need our parents.
Like any other superhero we look up to, our
mom will always be our own saviour and defense against life’s uncertainties.
She faces the toughest challenge in life for us and
sacrificing everything for the sake of our happiness. She will always be our
number one fan, our best friend, our father, our mentor, our idol. She is our
own personal superhero, the greatest gift from God.
