What do you think of SPES? How could this be helpful for
students?
SPES is a Special Program for Employment of Students.
This program is mandated under Republic Act No. 9543 otherwise known as “An act to help poor but deserving students
pursue their education by encouraging their employment during summer and
Christmas vacations”. This program is open to all qualified High School,
college or vocational or drop-outs and interested employers. It must be at
least 15 yrs. old but not more than 25 yrs. old.

This program gives the students opportunity to train them in a real work setting so that they may gain basic skills and experience in their work. And also, this program teaches the students on how to value their earned money for something they work hard. So basically, SPES really helps the students.
